Administrative Leadership
Session 5: May 28
One of the distinguishing factors among developed, developing and underdeveloped economies of the world is administration. Administration is synonymous with government, but many countries exhibit the converse. The Bible promotes administration as part of Christ’s gifts to peoples and nations. There is no excellence without attention to detail, organising, coordination, management, record-keeping, financial management, due diligence and operational efficiency. A generation of African leaders must understudy administrative principles and practices requisite for elevating a continent beyond aspirations to accomplishment. The continent can leapfrog and leverage the fourth industrial revolution to create an administrative culture catalytic to development.
