Course Overview and Learning Outcomes
“Welcome to Pan-Africanism in Biblical Perspective, a course where you will expand in knowledge, understanding, and practical application of the concept of Pan-Africanism from a biblical paradigm.
An 8-week virtual course where students will:
- Expand in knowledge, understanding, and practical application of the concept of Pan-Africanism from a biblical paradigm.
- Enhance your knowledge of the history of Pan-Africanism.
- Examine the biblical context for Pan-Africanism.
- Analyse contemporary issues relevant to Pan-Africanism in biblical perspective.
Unravel issues affecting Africa and the African Diaspora deploying the lens of Pan-Africanism in biblical perspective.

Olusegun Olanipekun

Olusegun Olanipekun is the Pioneer and Founder of The Adullam Institute, Chief Executive officer, Institute for Christian Leadership Development, Convener, Africa Leadership Summit (A biennial Leadership Summit hosted in Jerusalem), and The International President of the Africa-Israel Chamber of Commerce.
He is also Chairman of the Abrahamic Foundation. He obtained LLB from the University of South Africa, and Bachelor of Education degree in English language and History from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria.
Segun (as he is fondly called) is the author of Nation Building-A biblical Perspective.
The book is available online at … He conducts and organises conferences and seminars around local and global contemporary issues. He is passionate about the Lordship of Jesus Christ and the subject of the Kingdom of God.

Ansel Brown
Director of Academic (Curriculum Development)
Ansel Kebede Brown is the Director of Academic (Curriculum Development) at Adullam Institute. He is a founding board member and Treasurer of the Abrahamic Foundation America.
Professor Brown is an Assistant Professor at North Carolina Central University (NCCU) School of Law.
Professor Brown teaches Civil Procedure, Legal Research and Writing, and a Writing Seminar in International Law. His research focus is international law and Pan-Africanism. Previously, Professor Brown served as the NCCU Prelaw Advisor and Director of the University Honours Program.
Prior to entering academia, Professor Brown served as policy counsel at the North Carolina Institute of Minority Economic Development, Self-Help Credit Union, and the Centre for Responsible Lending. Professor Brown earned his bachelor’s degree from NCCU and his Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School.
While at law student, he co-founded the Alliance for Israel, wrote his third-year paper critiquing the Durban Conference on Race, Discrimination, and Xenophobia, and received the Dean of Students Community Leadership Award. Professor Brown is a member of the N.C. State Bar.
